Your notebooks

The Notebooks page on the Oceanum.io dashboard lists the Jupyter notebooks you have saved to Oceanum.io. Find it at dashboard.oceanum.io/notebooks, or through Notebooks in the dashboard navigation.

Two buttons at the top of the page open JupyterLab at notebook.oceanum.io, and this documentation.

The page shows two sections, each with a count of what it holds:

  • Owned — notebooks you saved yourself.

  • Shared with me — notebooks other people have shared with you.

Each row gives the notebook’s name, its description if it has one, and when it was created. Selecting a row opens that notebook in JupyterLab in a new tab, through the same link the Share on Oceanum… dialog produces.

You need to be signed in: signed out, the page asks you to sign in rather than showing an empty list.

A saved notebook belongs to the organisation you were acting as when you created it. If one you expect is not listed, check that you are in the right organisation — switch from your avatar at the top right.

Save a notebook from Oceanum Notebooks with File → Save to Oceanum, and it appears under Owned. Notebooks that colleagues share with you, and public ones, appear under Shared with me. See Saving and sharing.
